Advocacy Hall
The 17th Floor is dedicated to collaborative work that leads communities into new, equitable, and sustainable ways of living. Whether your organization focuses on mental or physical health, climate change solutions, affordable housing, social /political change, or uplifting and supporting under-served and systemically oppressed communities, please contact us for your affiliation or work/event space needs. Join us in Advocacy Hall!
Humanitarian Aid
DIT-trained therapists are working directly in devastated communities to educate and train local healers with the goal of providing culturally-sensitive PTSD treatment to individuals afflicted around the world.
Global disaster response volunteer opportunities available.
Transitional Housing
Our team is dedicated to creating sustainable, safe, and livable housing for unsheltered individuals across the country. Your donation helps us fund transitional housing and food security for indigenous, LGBTQIA+, justice involved, those suffering from generational trauma, and SDOH.
Ocean Preservation
Working closely with our partners in Maui, Hawaii, our team at The 17th Floor is dedicated to ensuring a clean, safe, and preserved environment for generations to come. A portion of our proceeds are donated to organizations actively making a difference in our oceans.
Veterans Health
A population widely-known and celebrated by our country is also one of the most under-served. We facilitate transitional and transformational programs that provide sustainable housing, mental healthcare, and job opportunities for unsheltered veterans. Our dIT treatment, studied by Southwest Behavioral & Health through Dr. Bob Bohanske, has been measured to work through the symptoms of PTSD efficiently and effectively.
Chaya Project
The Chaya tree may just be nature’s solution to malnutrition. Its leaves are one of the most nutritious vegetables in the world. It is also drought-resistant and grows easily from cuttings. It thrives in dry, sandy soil, and is resistant to the pests and diseases that plague other crops. Once established, Chaya doesn’t need much attention, making it one of the easiest foods to grow. Like all trees, Chaya has environmental benefits leading to cleaner air, less soil erosion and carbon sequestration benefits.
